You get the improved prompt, an annotated list of each change with the reason behind it, and the names of the prompting techniques used, so you can learn the pattern.
Is promptd free and what are the limits?
It is free for 10 improvements per day, and the count resets at midnight UTC. Prompts can be up to 6,000 characters. The limit is tracked with a hash of your IP address and browser, not an account. A Pro tier with batch mode and saved presets is not built yet, so nothing on the site can be paid for today.
How do I write a better prompt for an AI model?
Paste your current prompt, pick the target that fits your task and run it. Read the change list as well as the rewrite, since it shows what was missing, such as context, output format or constraints. Copy the improved prompt into your AI tool. Prompts that ask for something against policy are refused with a reason instead of being rewritten.
